"Windows exist purely to let in the light and as light is one of the biggest influencers on our mood, it's hugely important that the dressings we use help create the ambience and atmosphere we want.
"It may sound obvious but a good starting point is to consider which room the dressing is for and what its main function is. How much do you need to control the light and is privacy essential?
