Hillarys launches new pleated blinds collection!
“Pleats are a massive trend in fashion this season and where the High Street leads, interior design invariably follows,” says Sarah Quilliam, head of product design for Hillarys.
“Our new pleated collection features over 160 fabrics ranging from a fashion forward range in contemporary and design-led prints and colours to those with a performance backing. These feature a solar reflective backing so the blind can reflect heat and light from the sun to help keep you cool in the summer whilst retaining heat in the chillier months.
And in the same way that the RSPCA stipulates that dogs are not just for Christmas, Hillarys is keen to dispel the myth that pleated blinds are just for conservatories!
“Whilst they are undeniably the perfect option for a conservatory roof,” says Sarah, “pleated blinds are sleek, simple and practical and work well in any setting whether modern, traditional or period. They filter the light beautifully, are a stylish alternative to net curtains and neatly fold away to let in plenty of light. They also give a lovely full effect that creates a cosy feel to a room.”
Tab pleated blinds which have no cords or loops are completely child safe and therefore the ideal choice for a nursery or child’s bedroom.
