Be bold in your choice of colour for blinds

Opting for a bold colour scheme with roman blinds to match can liven up a bathroom, according to an expert.

Though some may find bold colours off-putting or overwhelming, they can work well in bathrooms and can lend a sense of fun to an otherwise dull space.

Housetohome.co.uk says that providing the dominant colour is offset by other accent tones, bold colours can create a design theme that is appropriate all year round.

And it also translates well in other rooms around the house, such as study areas, bedrooms or even in a lounge-diner.

Anyone with objections to vivid-coloured room can make concessions just by having one or two features in that colour, including blinds or cushions.

Roman blinds are also suitable for Mediterranean-themed rooms, according to interior design specialist Thomas Pretty, writing for GoArticles.com, with summer being the ideal time to implement such a theme.
