Blinds owners ‘must consider personal style’
People who are planning home improvements through the use of roller blinds or similar items should consider their personal style when doing so, it has been suggested.
Talking to the Times Colonist, architect and interior designer Peggy Ann Turner explained that consumers need to know what they like and what they do not, as patterns will then emerge in colour schemes and other ways.
In addition, the expert hinted that people should consider physical and visual comfort, as well as colour rules.
"Each environment has its own restrictions. Perhaps you don't want to paint a south-facing room red because it will be too overwhelming," she explained.
Don Davis, editor of Internet Retailer Magazine, recently suggested that window shades and blinds have become a top item that consumers like to buy online.
He stated that many home improvement websites across the world are now offering quality services for those seeking such products.
