Blinds the window dressing of choice in beautiful bedrooms

A list of the top ten "drop-dead gorgeous" bedrooms shows that many of them feature blinds.

Home-Designing.com scoured the internet for pictures of the most stunning bedroom designs and several of their choices included rooms with blinds as the preferred window dressing.

The Zhitnik bedroom is a bright, airy space with wooden flooring, a low, stylish bed and Japanese-style fixtures, while white venetian blinds also feature.

Long vertical blinds add a sense of height in the Elif bedroom, which is dominated by four floor-to-ceiling windows and has numerous pieces of modern art on display.

In the luxurious Via room, which even has a swimming pool, vertical blinds are fitted alongside opaque curtains, while the general theme is that of a spa.

For homeowners with an iPhone, there are a number of applications which can be used for inspiration when redecorating a bedroom, including the free Houzz app which includes thousands of images and tips, reports the Independent.
