Top tips for child safety around window blinds

Use cordless blinds in children’s bedrooms, Hillarys suggest choosing pleated blinds with tab opening to ensure no cords at all
Alternatively try pull cords on roller blinds – a short cord that hangs from the middle of the roller, eliminating the need for sidewinder chains with loops
Move beds and cribs away from windows or any furniture that children can climb on
