Conservatory blinds

The sun may not have always been shining this summer but that’s no excuse not to be using your conservatory. Not only can you use your conservatory on hot summer days but also in cooler weather. A conservatory is a useful addition to any house, an extra room that combines space and multifunctionality with a great view that is easily accessible.

But how do you decide how to decorate it? Conservatories can become a totally personalised space, and blinds are the perfect way to do this. There are a variety of different options depending on what you use your conservatory for and when. Vertical and Venetian blinds can be used to effectively filter light, offering full privacy when drawn. Verticals can even be fitted into sloping windows.

Pleated blinds are ideal for using both on the sides and roof of your conservatory and certain pleated blinds have a sun-reflective backing, which as the name suggests reflects the sun back out of your conservatory creating a cooler room on hot days and helps to keep in the warmth in on cooler days.

Roller blinds provide a clean and simple look that can either provide a subtle light filter or, in the case of blackout Roller blinds, block out the light completely.
