Coordinate roller blinds with other fabrics for chic look

Coordinating roller blinds with other fabrics in a living space can help create a chic look, it has been claimed.

According to interior design expert Jackie Morra, different patterns, textures and colours can all be mixed, as long as they coordinate with each other.

Speaking to the Star, she said that mixing items such as a striped roller blind with a floral rug, a geometric-patterned cushion and a solid coloured chair can be very effective.

"The blend of colour, patterns and scale are important when choosing fabric in relation the balance of the room, furnishings and style of the homeowner," Ms Morra added.

Earlier this week, interior design expert and TV presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen told Wales Online that people should put their stamp on their homes as neutral decor is "dull".

Patterned roller blinds can be a great way of adding colour into a room without painting or wallpapering.
