Open window blinds ‘help to sell homes’

People should give some thought to their window blinds when showing off their properties to potential buyers in the near future, it has been noted.

Whether householders have the likes of Roman blinds or pleated blinds installed, they may want to heed the words of realtor Joan Camerlengo who suggested to SILive.com that window coverings must be opened when homes are on display.

She stated: “All of the lights should be on and all the window drapes and blinds need to be open.”

Bathrooms are among the other areas that Ms Camerlengo feels home sellers should aim to focus on, as these rooms “need to be spotless”.

Meanwhile, clean carpets will be required to show a house at its best, the expert went on to tell the news provider.

When it comes to home interiors, Warren Evans recently suggested that people should try to rid their bedrooms of clutter in order to make them look better.
