Roman blinds: Homeowners need to consider colours

Homeowners who are investing in new Roman blinds should think about the colours that they plan to purchase the items in, an expert has advised.

Talking to the Daily Telegraph, colour psychologist Angela Wright has suggested that investing in Roman blinds in colours like yellow and red could have a major impact on the moods of property owners.

She explained that yellow in bedrooms tends to make people bad-tempered and can make it difficult for people to sleep.

“Too much red in the bar, we had potential trouble. Blue never worked in the restaurant,” she outlined in the newspaper.

“When you go out, you want to feel expansive, but blue can put you on your best behaviour.”

Earlier this week, realtor Joan Camerlengo told SILive.com that people should always ensure their blinds are fully open when people are set to come around to view a property.

She added that all of the lights should also be on.
