Which blind? (Part one)

Choosing a blind for your house can be confusing with so many different blinds and fabrics to choose from so here’s a guide to the key facts about each blind type, so you can compare them side by side.

Vertical Blinds

Available in almost 200 colours.

Widths 89mm and 127mm available

Controls available on either side (left or right) alternatively they can open in the middle for a curtain effect.

Venetian Blinds

Aluminium blinds available in over 90 colours

Available in 4 different slat widths to choose from: 15mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm

Controls can be fitted to the left or right side

Wood Venetian Blinds

Available in 10 different shades of wood, (8 natural wood tones and 2 painted)

Available in 3 different slat widths to choose from: 25mm, 35mm and 50mm

Controls can be fitted to the left or right side

Add co-ordinating or contrasting tape for a modern finish

Roller Blinds

Available in almost 200 colours and 7 different shaped bottoms including straight edge or waved edge

Roller blinds also have many different choices of accessories – 7 different poles, 8 different pulls, 4 different eyelets and 26 different braids.

Controls can be either be installed on the left or right (standard), or alternatively in the middle of the blind (Luxury).
