Window dressings – Key looks for Autumn/Winter 2007

Although many of us wish the Summer (or lack of it this year) would last forever Autumn is coming up fast, so what are the new trends for Autumn and winter this year?

Sarah Quillam head of product design at Hillarys gives her view: “Bold, striking schemes continue to be a key trend for autumn and winter, from the high constrast of black and white to the luxury and glamour of metallics and shiny fabrics through to racy russest and regal purples inspired by the vibrant shades of autumn.”

A good way to introduce these colours into your home, without overpowering all your other decoration, is to introduce just a shot of black and accessorise with reds, teals and golds.
