Wood venetian blinds ‘versatile and elegant’

Wood venetian blinds can add "timeless elegance" to any space and can easily be incorporated into any theme, according to an expert.

Interior designer Mike Lee said their versatility and classy appearance made them an ideal choice for a variety of rooms.

Another advantage of wood venetian blinds is their ability to "look amazing" when used as a window treatment on either side of the window recess, he said.

They come in a variety of colours, enabling them to fit easily into all sorts of colours schemes, as Mr Lee explained:"For rooms big in size, colours that enhance the look of the room are deep natural colors like chestnut and oak.

"Rich red mahogany compliments the decors that are red and green in color. Along with this it also beautifies the dressing of window in dining rooms having polished mahogany tables."

According to Channel4.com, wood venetian blinds are on trend this summer, as natural materials are back in vogue.
