Installers deliver a high quality of service to our customers by making sure our specialist products: shutters, awnings and conservatory roof blinds, are measured and fitted to perfection. With all attention focused on providing accurate surveys and installing products to a beautiful finish, our installers leave the selling to others.

Attributes / skills you need for this role:

  • Communicating with others

    • The ability to communicate with a diverse group of people and clearly explain technical issues in a way the customer will understand

  • Advanced level of DIY competence

    • Although full training is provided, this role requires considerable DIY skills or experience gained through work and the ability to solve problems

  • Organisation

    • advisors manage their own diaries and keep an accurate record of orders and payments, keep track of their commission statements and liaise regularly with departments at Head Office

  • Presentation and reliability

    • Advisors must turn up on time, with the right equipment and looking smart and presentable in Hillarys branded work wear

  • Respect for others

    • Advisors need to be friendly and professional in attitude and show due respect for customers’ property

  • Committed to service

    • A commitment to delivering a high quality service and a determination to succeed is essential for this role
