About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team in Colwick.

Key responsibilities

  • Working closely with the design team on choosing relevant photography for online content
  • Working with product and other relevant teams to ensure that product information is correct and update where necessary (Umbraco)
  • Adding content such as images and text to existing pages
  • Updating monthly inspiration articles
  • Creating new pages
  • Working closely with the marketing executive and design team on the creative for the promotions
  • Adding and removing banners through the content management system (Umbraco)
  • Adding new fabrics and removing old ones
  • Updating product imagery
  • Testing maintenance tasks alongside the marketing executive and external digital agency
  • Supporting A/B testing and personalisation
  • Working closely with external agencies to deliver the product development roadmaps
  • Working closely with the internal SEO and PPC teams to increase visitors to the site
  • Working with the internal design and content teams to deliver projects and improve conversion rates
  • Using Google Analytics to produce the weekly stats spreadsheet
  • Using Google Analytics and personalisation tools to understand user behaviour online

About you

The successful and ideal candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven interest in digital marketing
  • A good eye for detail as they will be responsible for the majority of content that is displayed on the websites
  • IT literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Proficient in using mobile and tablet devices
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with content management systems (ideally, Umbraco, but not essential)
  • Familiarity with SEO
  • Effective time management skills to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines
