There are so many different curtain fabrics, linings and header types, all with their own special benefits. Your local advisor will help you make the right decision for your space.
The curtain header is the style of the very top of the curtain, and determines how it hangs from your track or pole and how it drapes or folds. Your choice of header will change the overall look of your finished curtains. A double pinch pleat header is a good choice for striped curtains, as less of the pattern is gathered into the fold.
Alternatively, you could have a wave header for soft, relaxed folds if you don't have much space either side of your windows, as they stack back neatly at the sides of the window. Your local advisor will be able to give you all the advice and guidance you need.
Stripes never go out of fashion! Whether you go for a thin or thick stripe, bold colour or a subtle woven detail, stripes can bring a really classic look to your space. If your home has low ceilings and you're looking for a way to add some height, curtains with vertical stripes will help to draw the eye upward and create the illusion of height in an otherwise small room.
Yes, you can absolutely pair striped curtains with a patterned duvet cover. Make sure the colours in the striped curtains complement or coordinate with the colours in the patterned duvet cover. If the patterns are vibrant and bold, consider keeping the wall colour or other large furniture pieces in neutral tones to provide balance and prevent the room from feeling too busy.
