You can never predict the weather in this country, but spring has officially sprung, so we’re expecting a few April showers. If you’d like to channel the beautiful transformations taking place outdoors, there are lots of lovely ways to do this in your interior.

As you would expect, blue blinds make for wonderful watery tones have a refreshing effect when they’re introduced to your décor. Teals and turquoises always make a ‘splash’, but this year they’re more popular than ever.

And the world is your oyster when it comes to sampling the shade. You could go for a light and airy hue, or a bright and bold one. In our bedroom, we fancied a pale aquamarine to complement our crisp white scheme. These Lisbon Aqua Roller blinds fitted the bill beautifully.

Over in our breakfast room, we plumped for a darker option, as we wanted to add a touch of drama to our surroundings. This sophisticated Opulence Jade Roman blind is taken from our House Beautiful edit.

Plains are so easy to work with, but if you’re feeling adventurous, pretty patterns are a great way to create a focal point in your room. We’re proud as a peacock of these Bird Parade Teal curtains from our exclusive Country Retreat range.

In fact, we loved this Country Retreat fabric so much, that we decided to use another in our living room. The bold brushstrokes on our Wild Poppies Teal curtains have an arty appeal. Watercolour prints are bang on trend right now.

These Painterly Duck Egg Roller blinds also combine two fashions in one, as they feature fabulous aquatic hues and an artistic pattern. They bring a brilliant sense of personality to our contemporary kitchen.

Our patio door supplies a stunning feature in this space. We wanted to make the most of the expanse of gorgeous glass, so highlighted it with a different motif. Our Boats Teal Roller blinds were just the ticket, as they have a cool coastal feel.

Or if botanical beauty is more your thing, take a peek at these Safi Turquoise blinds from our new Romans and curtains collection. Here, we went all out with a terrific teal theme and featured the palette on our walls.
