Tara Hall by Tara Hall

Make a vibrant start to the year with fabulous red blinds and curtains, inspired by this season’s hottest fashion designs.

From pillarbox red to crimson and redcurrant, we take a look at the best of the reds, and show you how to work this season’s brightest look in your own home.

Red Roses
Mother Nature saves some of her most sensational reds for this time of year, from ruby roses to the brightest berries. So it’s no surprise that Winter florals abound this season, from bold vermillion prints to delicate cherry red blossoms.

Our Jewel Collection perfectly captures the current trend for rosy florals, and includes these gorgeous Bohemia Berry curtains, with accents of grey, white and black. We’ve layered the curtains with a Bardot Redcurrant Roman blind to create depth of colour and extra Winter cosiness.

Scarlet Woman
Red is the colour of power and passion, and the sexiest reds are no longer reserved just for the boudoir. The catwalk is full of sheer lace, barely there chiffon and slinky satins, all in vibrant shades of crimson and scarlet.

Our Day and Night EnlightTM blinds combine sheer and opaque stripes to give you greater control over light and privacy. Slide one layer past the other to create a variety of gorgeous effects for day and night. We’ve chosen deepest ruby red to give this neutral scheme a splash of sultry colour.

Military Red
Red is also the colour of war and is used extensively in military styling. This season saw lots of military inspired designs, featuring stripes, chevrons and formal tailoring. Winter greatcoats, blazers and bustiers are some of the signature pieces in this structured look.

Customise wooden blinds with coloured tape for a military-inspired look in your home. We’ve added Cherry red tape to these Middleton Gloss wooden blinds to create interest at the window and to coordinate with the red accents in this contemporary kitchen.

Strawberries and cream
Lots of designers played with styling around the classic colour combination of red and cream, using red splashes, flashes and coordinates to bring classic staples right up to date. Soft cashmere knits, lace collared blouses and warm camel coats all got the red upstyling treatment.

Red and cream is a classic combination for interiors too, creating a soft and sophisticated feel. We’ve combined a striped Roman blind in Hatti Raspberry with pretty Francesca Raspberry floral curtains for a modern take on two interior design classics. View more red curtains and Roman blinds.
