This serene and sacred story is inspired by the velvety darkness of a starry night

Luxe to the max

Here’s a look we love to the moon and back – tone on tone colour, elevated with shimmering gold and deep petrol blue accents. Full-length Stylish Lavender curtains with matching Roman blinds create a luxuriously decadent feel at the window, while the slim profiles of the dining room table and console lend an air of refinement. Warm metallics are used to reflect light around the space and are also picked up in the elegant window dressings. A fade-out wool rug creates an extra layer of luxury.

Lush luxe

If you like your luxe a little lighter, you’ll love this playful twist on the high glamour look. Taking inspiration from the art deco era, fan-shapes and rich jewel shades create a flamboyant feel, while the golden palm tree and flamingo friends bring a fun, Florida Keys vibe. The sunshine-state feel continues with curtains and Roman blinds in soft pastel shades, but marble surfaces and a geometric print rug in shades of gold and cream ensure that, overall, this space feels sophisticated and chic.

Scandi luxe

For a pared back look that’s refined in all the right places, concentrate on building up layers of  luxurious texture to contrast against raw and untreated surfaces. In this gorgeous bedroom, the rough-edged wood panelling sets the tone for this textural look. A natural wool headboard contrasts with faux-silk cushions, and soft cashmere throws take their place next to a fur-lined bench. At the windows, low key linen-look curtains are teamed with luxurious faux-silk Roman blinds, adding to the rough-luxe finish. A palette of soft greys and rose pinks creates a warm and relaxed feel.

Future luxe

For this look to really take off, combine luxe textiles with retro styling that has a futuristic feel. This pedestal armchair wouldn’t look out of place on the Starship Enterprise, and the pendant lights look like they could have been melted by ray guns. We’ve teamed dark Roman blinds with Broadleigh Aubergine curtains to create a wonderfully rich feel which is echoed throughout the room. Slimline display shelves are filled with luxe metallic accessories, and the floral displays remind us that despite the space age feel, we’re still on terra firma.
