This rose-tinted story blends old and new to create charming and homely environments

Ocean Drive

Art deco meets kitsch Americana in this playful pastel story. Peppermint greens, cotton candy pinks and sherbet lemon shades make up this frivolous poolside story, with plush velvets and luxe metallics dripping glamour into this contemporary look. Here, pinch pleat full-length curtains are teamed with jazzy Roller blinds for a cool and sophisticated feel. An angular velvet sofa is offset with a curvaceous accent chair and round brass tables sit on a geometric rug to create an intriguing tension within the room.

The collector

Taking inspiration from Victorian collectors and naturalists, the trend for bold botanical prints and lush indoor greenery is going nowhere soon. Often used to create ultra-contemporary spaces, in this stunning bathroom we’ve stayed close to its Victorian roots with exposed brickwork, copper towel rail and bath panel. A high shine brass shower and curtain rail add a luxe feel, with a faux-wood blind nestling within the leafy scene.

A blast in the past

Beautiful heritage prints featuring illustrative florals are key to this classic look, but don’t restrict yourself to a specific era of design. If you love it – it will work. In this gorgeous living room, a traditional black leather chesterfield sofa basks in the elegant surroundings of a Victorian parlour. Sumptuous floral Roman blinds in heritage Delizia Teal Green are layered with Lyon Sulphur golden yellow velvet curtains adding to the sophisticated feel. And yet, a rogue 1950s starburst clock and art deco chair muscle in on this gentile scene for a cool and contemporary twist.

Heritage prints

Choose textiles that bring heritage all of their own. Team tartan, plaid and classic striped blinds with curtains in softly muted shades for a look that instantly feels like home. Curate a gallery wall with vintage prints in old wooden frames and add warming notes of ochre and amber to the mix. In this laid-back living room the subdued palette creates a restful and calming mood.
