Charlie’s style is delightfully understated. Choosing a seaside palette of natural and subdued tones, with a splash of something unexpected, he’s created a suite of rooms that are in equal parts relaxing and invigorating. Charlie shows us round his Cornish home, giving tips on how to bring the coastal look to your own home. Take a look at the stunningly understated results.
Charlie Luxton is known for his love of all things coastal. We gave him free reign to choose a selection of blinds and curtains that would work for the whole family.
Charlie chose to layer Voile curtains and Roller blinds at the patio doors of the open-plan living space. The Serene Linen Voiles are great for daytime privacy, while the Brindle Denim Drift Roller blinds offer something extra for the evening. The matching grey design at the kitchen window keeps things cohesive, while a bright splash of Fascination Ochre as a cushion mixes things up. In the bedrooms, Charlie chose two clever fabrics. A ThermaShade Stone Pleated blind keeps things temperate all year round in the master bedroom, while the blackout fabric Urban Marine Splash stops the kids from waking up with the birds.
