Following on from Mark Heyes’ fantastic interior décor tips, we wanted to show you even more ways you can create a stunning interior using a grey colour palette.
Just as Mark says, grey has been bang on-trend for a while now, and it’s not set to go anywhere any time soon. So make your mark with a lick of dramatic paint, or simply update your look with blinds or shutters.
Grand grey panelling
Panelling adds instant character to a contemporary space and painting it grey will really make a feature of it. A simple patterned Roller blind will stop things looking too old-fashioned. Add in pops of yellow to keep things fun.
Industrial luxe is a boutique hotel feel, slightly rough around the edges. Think brick wallpaper, and distressed wood panelling. Finish with plush curtains and a blackout blind to bring things back to the right side of luxury.
Grey is a traditional colour for period properties. Invest in a few statement period pieces and finish with window dressings that are appropriate for the era, like these fabulous grey wooden shutters.
New England style
Incorporate subtle grey accents into a coastal scheme with a neutral palette. We’ve added grey tape to these all white Wooden blinds and accessorised with photo frames in varying shades of grey.
