Looking to add some darker tones to your home decor then why not have a look at the Haywood Hickory Wooden blind it's created with a dark chocolate body rather than pure black for some character and richness to the colourway while using a lighter grain to make the tone stand out more. This style of Wooden blind would fit nicely with rooms that already have dark wood as part of the decor to match the style or alternatively you can use it in rooms with lighter tones for some contrast. The Wooden blinds are designed to filter out and fine tune external light entering your home so that you can create the setting you wish while the wooden slats are sourced from sustainable forests and only need to be wiped clean making them low maintenance.

- Cleaning Tips
-
Close your Wooden blinds and tilt the slats downwards until flat. Wipe over with a dry, clean cloth to remove dust and debris, before tilting the slats upwards and repeating. Any stubborn marks should be lightly buffed with a damp cloth – bear in mind any excess moisture or excessive rubbing may damage the wood.
- Child Safety
-
All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Wooden blind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children.

Which windows suit Wooden blinds?
Wooden blinds are a practical and stylish solution for any space. They can be made to fit narrow and wider windows, with a choice of slat widths designed to match the scale of your window. As the slats are horizontal and straight, they can’t be made to fit around sloping or shaped windows – Vertical blinds would be better here.
Can I have them in my bathroom or kitchen?
Like most wood products, humidity and moisture can cause Wooden blinds to warp or fade in colour. Instead, we offer a range of Faux Wood blinds, which look like real wood but are designed to withstand steamy or damp environments such as kitchens and bathrooms.
What colour options are available?
Our Wooden blinds are available in a range of painted pastel shades and natural wood stains. You can also choose a matching valance in the same shade to conceal the headrail, plus add coloured tapes and other accessories to complete your look.
Are Wooden blinds blackout?
Wooden blinds will dramatically reduce the amount of light coming into your room. However even when the slats are tilted until flat, there may still be small gaps between them or around the edges where light may leak in.
