Style tips for blue and teal curtains

Blue and teal are known for their calming qualities, so curtains in these colours are a great way to transform a room into a tranquil sanctuary. They're great for bedrooms and welcoming spaces, providing a soothing backdrop for relaxation.

Blue is a surprisingly versatile colour. Pair your curtains with a blind in a complementary plain shade for a harmonious effect or go for contrasting colours or patterns like floral for an eclectic look.

If your room faces south choose cooling shades of blue or teal, or add cosiness to north-facing rooms with warmer tones like navy blue.

All our curtains are lined as standard, but if you're worried about light coming through your blue or teal curtains, you can choose a blackout lining. Blackout curtains have thermal properties so they'll help keep your room warmer too.

For a coastal, beachy vibe, pair teal curtains with light, sandy hues and natural textures. If you prefer a more traditional look, dark blue curtains complement a classic and timeless décor.

Choose lighter shades of blue or teal to make smaller spaces look bigger.

Different header types can transform the look of your blue and teal curtains, from a modern wave curtain to a relaxed and rustic pencil pleat curtain. Take a look at the different styles or ask your advisor for more ideas.
