Ready to make your bifolds beautiful? Let us show you how our blinds and curtains can help.

Simple steps for beautiful bifolds

We love bifold doors. They give gloriously open access to the outdoors and an expansive feeling inside, but the width of the doors and their concertina style means they can be tricky to dress as there can be limited space to fit a product. You’ll want something that keeps out the way of your doors and doesn’t impact their movement. So you’ll need a product that fits within the door frames, goes over to one side or that rises up out of the way. In this video, we talk you through our blinds and curtains that can help your bifolds look beautiful.

Best for small spaces

When you don’t have a lot of room around your doors, every bit of space counts. Our INTU Micro Pleat blinds are made especially for bifold doors. They're cleverly designed to take up as little room as possible so you don’t need space at the sides or top of the doors to fit them. There's no drilling needed either!

The super slim style won’t stop your doors folding back into their neat concertina style, and a simple tab makes them really easy to operate with no cords or chains keeping things neat and tidy.

By fitting a single blind to each panel of your bifold doors, you'll have the flexibility to adjust individual blinds to reduce the amount of light shining through into your room depending on the direction and height of the sun throughout the day.

Best for temperature control

Did you know, 18% of a typical home’s heat is lost through its windows and doors?

We've got a brilliant solution for reducing heat loss through your bifold doors. Our INTU Micro Hive blinds have a honeycomb structure that traps the air, to help insulate your home in winter and cool it down in summer.

To keep things extra snug, pair INTU blinds with curtains. The extra layer at your doors will help stop any pesky draughts, and you'll get a really stylish look too.

Best for seasonal comfort

Curtains are another great way to beat the chill. They come fully lined for a naturally snug and cosy feel to keep you warm.

You’ll need to make sure there’s enough room at the sides of your bifold doors for the curtains to sit neatly when they’re fully open, so choose a header like wave or eyelet that is neat and compact so the curtains don’t take up too much space.

Or, you could go for a single curtain that pushes to one side. It'll look amazing, and won't get in the way when you want to step in and out.

Curtains can also help keep your home cooler in summer by reducing the amount of warm air transferred in, so they're a great solution to see you through the changing seasons.

Best for busy homes

If there’s enough space above your doors, Roller blinds are another fantastic choice for bifold doors. They can be made to measure to fit each individual door panel, so you can adjust the amount of light that comes in to your room and maintain your privacy.

They’re sleek and streamlined, and can roll up out the way so you can admire the view and move easily through your doors.

If you've bifold doors in your kitchen or dining area, Roller blinds really are an ideal choice. You can choose a moisture-resistant finish for your Roller which means it's super easy to wipe them clean of any spills or stains, so they'll look better for longer even in areas that you use a lot.
