Troubleshooting tips for Motorised blinds In the unlikely event that you have difficulty with your Motorised blinds, we’ve pulled together some easy-to-follow quick tips to help you.

I’m pressing the remote but nothing is happening.

Check that you have the remote set to the right channel for that blind, and change channel if necessary. If it's still not working, it could mean that motor needs to be recharged. Use the mains charger supplied with your blinds to charge the motor for 4 to 5 hours. If this doesn’t help, you may need to replace the battery in your remote.

I’m pressing ‘down’ on the remote, but the blind goes up.

The remote is in reverse setting and will need to be reset.  Press both the L button on the back of the remote and the ‘stop’ button on the front of the remote at the same time, and hold until the blind ‘jumps’ slightly. This should reset the remote.

The number ‘3’ is flashing on my remote.

This indicates that the remote’s battery is about to die and you’ll need to replace it.

How do I replace the batteries in my remote?

There is a panel on the back of the remote where the battery goes - slide the panel down and remove and replace the battery.

What kind of batteries do I need for my remote?

The label on the back of your remote will tell you what battery is needed.

My blind is beeping.

Beeping indicates that the motor’s battery is flat and needs to be charged. Use the mains charger supplied with your blinds to charge the motor for 4 to 5 hours.

My blinds are running at different speeds.

There are a number of factors that may affect the operating speed of your blinds. Larger blinds will move slower than smaller ones due to the increased weight. Different types of motors may also operate at different speeds, or may slow down as they run out of charge.

Can I start using my blinds straight after they have been fitted?

Your blinds will be partially charged when fitted, but we recommend letting them charge fully before you start to use them. Use the mains charger supplied to charge the motor for 4 to 5 hours.

What’s the best way to clean and care for my blinds?

Most of our blinds can vacuumed using an upholstery attachment, or gently dusted with a clean, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, certain blinds may be dry-cleaned only. For more information on cleaning each type of blind, visit our Blinds Care Guide.

Do you offer a guarantee on my blinds?

We offer a full 12 month warranty, which covers repairs or replacements to any faulty blinds.
